I am poor. But worse than that, I am frugal.
Over the weekend, I listened to NPR as some wine douche spoke about "the forgotten sparkling Reds that are making a comeback." I yearned to sip on sparkling red wine, to play cards and eat a steak sandwich just like the guy on the radio.
Reality set in when I opened my fridge. There was no sparkling red wine. There was some Pelligrino, though, and in the cabinet was some port. Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you the notion of... The Portolino. It is a mixture of the two.
It is okay... I guess.
