And no one cracked a smile

A college rep visited my school today, from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. The rep's name is Jack Daniels.

But the best part was his soliloquy about why his university is worth consideration: "But probably the best part of studying abroad is the gaining of an international base. You would gain deep personal contacts in China, in Britain, in Russia. It would change who you do, and where they're from, forevermore. Uh. It would change what you do, and where, forevermore."
