Yesterday in cooking school we covered stock and roasting. We also threw together a cherry clafouti for dessert. While I have been relatively silent during class (!) I took on the task of plating the dessert when it came out of the oven. The chef spotted me searching through the supply case and asked what I was looking for. I said that I needed a sieve to dust the slices of clafouti with powdered sugar. He rolled his eyes and said, "There's a baker in every class."
