Still ill

One of my students is a boy from a strict Southern Baptist family. The two of us have problems because he doesn't understand my assignments because he talks all class period long. He is a very curious boy.

He asked me once about the Morrissey & Marr poster I have up behind my desk- about why the two seemed to be in embrace. "They're in love," I replied.

His mother popped into class the other day, to check on me and how obviously I abuse her son, singling him out, threatening him, making him feel unwanted. She sat there in glare, nose upturned.
