I just got a "wow, you work really hard, here's a hundred bucks" bonus from the toast place.
Right after that I found out that the repair on my computer is a hundred dollars more than I had expected.
Economists like to study the effects of equal-magnitude increases and decreases in income to see how humans respond to the stimuli, to learn about human behavior, because economists think they are "scientists".
I hereby offer data suggesting that humans are bitter, salty things ungrateful for anything good that comes their way.
(I really wanted to buy some Nintendo games with that money.)
