Lessons are blessings you should learn through

This weekend I went to a party at my boss-bosses' home, since they are a married couple. I learned some things:
1. My immediate boss doesn't like me for sure, or at least that's what it seems like since she left every group immediately after I arrived.
2. My boss likes to get me drunk, because I get giggly and ask him things like, "Where did you get such ugly shoes?" I think he may hate himself.
3. "Tell her to choose business as a major, because then she'll have more money than a doctor and you'll end up in a nicer nursing home" is the type of advice for your colleague whose daughter is choosing college majors that will stop conversation and everyone will leave to get more cheese.
