I don't know which of these is worse:
the in-house job I interviewed for never got back to me, so after two
weeks I e-mailed them to ask if they needed anything else and they
replied within five minutes with a rejection e-mail;
the rejection said "there are other candidates whose qualifications
are a better match for the position" which implied that I didn't even
come in second; or
the job posting is still up on their web site.
