So I'm married now. I got engaged in February and married in August. We didn't plan on getting married so quickly, but when we started looking at halls in March some guy gave us a great price since he had a cancellation in August.
A month before the wedding while drinking with the boys, I said, "It doesn't matter that we had a short engagement. What's the benefit of a long engagement anyway?"
