As my boss was teaching me the cafe's famous recipe for zucchini bread, she said that she had to have the cafe's mixer repaired twice and didn't particularly care for it. She said that she didn't see what the big deal was with Kitchenaid mixers.
I said, "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that."
Then she dumped three cups of shredded zucchini into the batter in the mixer. The mixer groaned with disapproval. I said, "I think we should fold that in by hand from now on." Then she groaned with disapproval.
