The wife and I finished our Father's Day shopping last night. My dad didn't ask for anything so I got him his two favorite things: a bag of cashews and a bottle of Jameson's whiskey. My two brothers also got him whiskey.
My wife bought her dad a "vintage washed" LaCoste polo shirt that he asked for.
I have a lot in common with my father-in-law and I like him a lot, but I hope that my kids get me whiskey when I get old.
