After school I take a dip in the pool

Over the winter, my dad's pool cover fell into the pool with a million pounds of leaves.

I took a look at it last week.  It was a half-full pool of black water and leaves.  My dad has been putting off dealing with it.  Last weekend he took a look at it and decided it was time to start doing something.  So he put the hose in the pool and filled it up.  No chemicals, just more water.  With the cover at the bottom of the pool.  He essentially just gave all of the living things in the water more room to grow.

Yesterday my brother and I pulled the cover out of the bottom of the pool and dumped a ton of chemicals in it.  You could almost hear the water scream.

My dad is not lazy. I think he was trying to farm some West Nile Virus to kill my mom.
