I like 'em real wild

A friend of mine recommended that I check out D'Artagnan, a gourmet meat supply place in Newark. I browsed the web site and decided to start off with some wild boar bacon and Wagyu beef.

I got the bacon in the mail yesterday and took a look at it. On top it says, "WILD BOAR* BACON." The asterisk deflated me, until I looked at the fine print below and read "*Meat from Feral Swine." On the back of the package it reads, "It's boar, not boring!"

Everyone I know is getting it for Christmas.
