You have a collapse, and there's nothing in it

Last weekend I went to a dog show, to look at dogs, but I ended up getting entranced by the retired police dogs. I asked about getting one, but was told that they usually die a year after retiring. That makes them a bad investment.

Coincidentally, my mother gave me her old dog last weekend, so she could get a new one. My mother likes new and shiny things, which is why I frequently buy her earrings.

Since receiving this new dog, the dog has pissed on my carpet and stunk up my car. Suddenly I see the value of a buying a dog that knows where to piss and shit and will die soon after the new coolness of having a dog wears off.

I am contacting the police department tomorrow.
